When Disney Plus was announced everyone was sure that it was over for Netflix. Disney revealed a ton of original content coming to their streaming platform, but what many didn’t know is that content is years away. All we got at launch was The Mandalorian (fire) and a bunch of old Disney princess movies. Then Netflix came out the cut with the Witcher and reminded everyone they’re still in the fight. The reception from the public has been overwhelmingly positive!
Netflix wants to ride the Witcher’s success as far as they can. They recently took to Twitter to reveal that they have another Witcher project in the works. This time it’s an anime being produced by the same team behind Legend Of Korra. It’s called The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. In the tweet, it’s revealed Geralt will be facing a new threat that threatens the continent. So I guess we can rule out slaying the Griffin again. I really wanted to see him slay the Griffin.
