Fresh off the heels of the success Hellblade; it would seem Ninja Theory isn’t finished exploring the human mind. They just revealed they’re working on a new game currently titled Project: Mara. From the reveal trailer, you can tell it’s a horror title, but the problem is you can’t really tell where they’re going with it. So I did my Google’s and found on the official Xbox blog Ninja Theory’s press release. In it they said:
“Project: Mara will be a real-world and grounded representation of mental terror. Based on real lived experience accounts and in-depth research, our aim is to recreate the horrors of the mind as accurately and realistically as possible. Project: Mara will be an experimental title and a showcase of what could become a new storytelling medium.”
No release date or platforms have been revealed. When we have more info we’ll be sure to share. In the meantime take a look at the teaser trailer below.
