January is a slow month for new game releases. Things don’t heat up until Spring 2020. The one game that’s getting a little bit of press is Bandai Namco’s Dragonball Z: Kakarot. It’s a single-player RPG that allows you to relive all the greatest DBZ moments from the Saiyan to Buu saga for the millionth time. The studio behind this game is the same people behind the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games. So basically expect a 6 out of 10.

Jokes aside what’s new in this game is the side quests. You’ll be able to see what the Z warriors were up to when Goku disappeared after the fight with Frieza on Namek. So if you always wanted to control pink shirt Vegeta, then this is the game for you! Bandai Namco just dropped a new trailer going over all the riveting new features this game will contain. Kakarot drops January 17th, 2020 for all major platforms except the Switch.

It might be lit. Unlike the old dbz games it isn’t just about the fights and it focus on new and old characters from the original dragon ball.
