Samurai Shodown is one of my favorite 2D fighters from my childhood. I knew a new one was coming, but nothing really stood out to me about the game. That is until I saw this new trailer. Things were going as usual showing off the new characters, stages, and mechanics, but then they revealed “The Dojo”.
This game is constantly learning your play style whether you’re in single player or multiplayer. You can then hop into The Dojo and fight your own shadow clone. It will fight just like you which will allow you to learn your weaknesses before the enemy does. You’ll also be given the option to share your shadow clone for others to take on. This will allow people to train against top talent even when they’re not online. This is something I’d like to see implemented in every fighting game here on out.
