The most frustrating things about Netflix’s small screen Marvel Universe being canceled was the amount of time we invested in watching, them being apart of the MCU and how abrupt it all ended. We spent so much time with these characters and it was all for nothing. The movies made it seem like they didn’t matter even though there were a ton of references to the films in the shows.
Not all hope is lost though. I found a rumor floating around on Twitter about the opportunity to bring DareDevil and Jessica Jones back into the fold via the MCU with the same actors. According to informant “someone very important at Marvel Studios (we’re going to go ahead and assume it’s Kevin Feige) is a big fan of the small-screen takes on Jessica Jones and Daredevil, and may decide to bring Krysten Ritter and Charlie Cox back to reprise their role in future Marvel films or TV shows.”
The only problem with this news is it comes from an inconsistent snitch of ours. They’ve been correct about certain rumors in the past and they’ve been wrong about others, so take this all in with a grain of salt. In the meantime feel free to discuss how you think they could incorporate these two street-level heroes into the bigger pictures? I love DareDevil, but what’s he gone do to Thanos or a Frost Giant?!
