Right now Heroes Of The Storm is my current favorite MOBA. I’m not a big fan of the overhead camera style, but the pacing and new elements this game brings to the genre turned me into a fan. Only issue with this game is it’s currently in closed beta, so unless you were one of the lucky few invited you might not understand the hype.
Well looks like you won’t be outside looking in for much longer. Blizzard announced today that their MOBA will officially release to the public on June 2nd. An open beta will be conducted next month (May 19th) as well according to our sources.
“With its focus on team play and fast-paced fun, Heroes of the Storm is a fresh take on a very popular genre,” Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment, said in a prepared statement. “We’ve built Heroes of the Storm in a way that makes it accessible to new players, but also challenging enough for veterans who really want to put their skills to the test. We can’t wait to see what Heroes brings to the co-op and competitive scenes once the Nexus opens up to everyone.”
Keep an eye for this game! Blizzard has a great track record.
