The PlayStation Vita had an interesting life. Many Vita owners said that the handheld was a highly underrated platform that just didn’t get enough love when it dropped in December 2011 in North America. Sony and other companies just didn’t give the handheld any support (minus giving free games with PlayStation Plus). Sony even got to a point where they had to stop including the Vita in the lineup because no one was playing any games.
According to our source, Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia has officially ended production of PS Vitas. The last two colorways available were the black and blue models. Go ahead and pour one out for the PS Vita. You didn’t get the respect you deserved!
