Apple recently released the iPhone XS & iPhone XS Max and of course Apple fanatics couldn’t wait to get their hands on Apple’s newest set of iPhones. With the release of the new phone, that also meant the version of an entirely new iOS. iOS 12 came with an array of new features like (Group FaceTime, Animoji & Memoji, Siri Shortcuts, etc.). One unfortunate glitch that happened with iOS 12 for some users was the inability to charge an iPhone while connected to the lighting cable and the screen was off.
Eventually, the iPhone would charge after being plugged into power for a few minutes. So far it’s only been reported to be happening to the iPhone XS & iPhone XS Max users but, if you are experiencing issues similar be sure to check out Apple support website. iOS 12.1 software update will resolve the charging issues when it is deployed later this year.
