It took a long time, but Discord is finally done with the exclusive testing and is now allowing video chat and screen sharing to everyone who uses Discord. Of course, GI uses Discord and is in there all the time, and this will be a powerful tool for us to create content with.
With Discord video chat, you can chat with up to five people simultaneously, or with ten people for direct messaging. You can also screen share instead of using your webcam for videos.
I still need to talk to someone higher up for that audio recording feature, but this will do for now.
