Good news and bad news depending on how you look at it. Death Note is getting an official new manga from creator Takeshi Obata. The downside is it’s only going to be one chapter long and will focus on what a Shinigami brings with them when they head to earth. It’s reported the issue will be released during the 30th Work Anniversary Takeshi Obata Exhibition: Never Complete which is from July 13 to August 12. Let us know if you think death note needs this manga or an even longer manga that gives us more lore about the Shinigami.

Talk about an overhyped anime. It’s decent, yes. Great? Hell, no. There’s 10 other anime that deserve far more acclaim.
