Now usually Playstation Plus would run you $60 USD (increased from last year) but as of now, you can get a year-long subscription for $40. This was done by Amazon and GameStop.

A $20 price drop is kind of a big deal but many of us (myself included) feel as if the price should be much lower anyway considering how much PSN is down for “scheduled maintenance” but that’s neither here nor there at this point. No official word as to how long this deal will last so if you’re close to your subscription expiring, you may wanna cash in on this.

Players are being giving a download redemption code which means you won’t have to wait for a physical card to be mailed to you from Amazon.

November’s Free PS Plus games will be Worms Battleground and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood while October’s free games will still be available at no charge until November 7.

(UPDATE) Amazon is said to have sold out of their PS Plus Promotion codes and as of today, GameStop is still selling theirs at the discounted rate.
