One of gamer biggest gripes about Fallout 4 was the graphics. A lot of people felt like Bethesda should have upgraded their engine after a five-year wait. Either way, the game was still fun, but that doesn’t mean Bethesda isn’t listening to the people. A new patch just released in beta form for the PC version of Fallout 4. According to our source it adds
“The update adds a new ambient occlusion setting (HBAO+), new weapon debris effects (NVIDIA cards only), a status menu for your settlers, allows for easier handling of building objects with a gamepad, and improves key remapping for Workshop mode.”
It patch also adds a bunch of hotfixes for stability issues and graphical glitches. If you’d like to install this patch, I’ve included the instructions on how to do it below. Just remember this patch is still in beta form, so there might be some issues.
- Log into Steam
- Right click on Fallout 4 in your Library
- Select Settings
- Select Betas
- Select Beta Update from the drop down menu
- Select OK.
- Wait a few minutes and Fallout 4 should update.
