Published November 13, 2018

About 4 months ago, we reported that Nintendo was taking legal action against ROM sites and over illegal distribution of their video games AKA ROMSNow we have received word that the family which owned these websites have lost the case over “massive copyright and trademark infringement” for a whopping $12 million according to our source.

That is a HUGE amount of money to receive from a husband and wife running those two ROM sites. Apparently, the couple wanted to settle and had discussions with Nintendo to resolve the matter without taking legal action. Let this be a lesson to anyone, DON’T MESS WITH NINTENDO because they don’t play fair.
