Usually when we see news about older gaming systems losing support, it’s almost always for actual video game support. However, this time Nintendo allegedly will be stopping video streaming services on the Wii including Netflix, Cruncyroll, and Watchup according to sources.
This news hopefully shouldn’t affect anyone, especially heavy Nintendo supporters as you most likely have a Wii U and a Switch by now. We did see news that Youtube is now on the Switch as well, so we’re sure that other video streaming apps will also make their way over to the latest system. For Netflix right now, they will stop support on January 31st, 2019.
