The PS4 had originally elected to have their new Translucent controllers to Europe but Sony now announced their product will be available in the US. The Red Crystal will be exclusive to Best Buy, Clear Crystal exclusive to GameStop and the Blue Crystal exclusive to Walmart. Each of them will cost $65.
The new DualShock 4 controllers are semi-transparent and will be available in Blue, Red and Crystal. They have the same features as the Dualshock 3 controllers, having a light bar at the top of the touch pad, USB connectivity, along with the other basic features that the controller has. Each model will launch on October 17.
People in the UK will only be able to attain the clear Crystal version. Australia and Europe will also be able to get their hands on a Destiny-themed DualShock 4. A deeper selection of controllers is always a good thing even though the price is pretty steep considering the horrible battery life the PS4 controllers have.
