Earlier this month we were all shocked when Oculus announced they will be selling their vr headset for $600. There is no official pricing on the retail units for the Microsoft Holo Lens which is mainly for the fact that it’s still in development. Sadly to say the dev kits alone are costing $3000. Of course this could be to prevent end consumers to purchase the unfinished product or simply because the cost of development of the headset is so high. Either way virtual/augmented reality doesn’t seem like it’s going to be very affordable. On the other side it is being said that the Microsoft holo lens can be used between two and a half to five and a half hours upon use. It also will be entirely wireless and can connect to bluetooth and wifi accessible devices. How much are you guys willing to pay for one of these headsets.
