Washed ashore on a strange land, a castaway will seek the truth. Unlike the Breath of Wild sequel reveal, we actually knew that Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was getting something at E3. The game is slated to release September 20th, 2019 and it looks pretty good.

It’s cool to see Nintendo dig deep into the bag and remake Link’s Awakening which was originally released back in 1993 for the Game Boy. They are shaking things up though by adding a new game mode. They show that throughout your adventure you can collect chambers which can be used to create your own custom dungeons kind of like Super Mario Maker.

After the direct they of course also gave us more details about the game at Nintendo Treehouse Live. There it was revealed there will be an amiibo released that will work with the game. “It will allow players to add a Shadow Link to Chamber Dungeons that will chase players from room-to-room. If defeated, it will drop a lot of rupees.” To see more details check out our source.

The Nintendo Direct brought a slew of news like Animal Crossing: New Horizons release date and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC characters. Were you guys satisfied with the E3 news revealed? Let us know.
