Supermassive Games, the makers of Until Dawn, announced their new horror series called The Dark Pictures Anthology. They release this news with a trailer at Gamescom, and this time the publisher will be Bandai Namco.

The series will have a new cast for each of its upcoming games. The first installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology will be The Man of Medan. The story of this first game will be about five friends on a trip to find a WWII wreckage. The trip then turns into a fight to survive the haunted World War II ship.

Having played Until Dawn, the previous game of Supermassive Games, it looks like it will be similar since you will be playing multiple characters at certain points in the story. The game will also still have important decision making that will impact a character’s survival.

The “The Man of Medan” will be set to drop sometime in 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Check out the full announcement trailer below.
