Avengers: Endgame is not only destroying audiences minds but it is also destroying records already for its opening weekend. Avengers: Endgame has already broken the record for opening weekend worldwide as reported by Variety.
The Marvel film has already made $1.2 billion during the opening weekend, This includes China release date which was on the 24th on a Wednesday. The pre-sales that sold from Fandango were more than $127M in U.S. ticket sales starting from April 2nd. According to this source, Before Avengers: Endgame got released ticket presales from all of the outlets were around the $120m-$140M. North America alone has put in $356 million which went well above what people were thinking it was going to make this weekend.
This news of Avengers Endgame surpassing all of its other movies is really no surprise because of the fans have invested 11 years into the MCU. Iron Man kicked off the MCU on May 2nd, 2008 and now after 21 Marvel movies later, Avengers Endgame will close the Saga.
