On Twitter, Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft’s Xbox division and Microsoft Studios, congratulated Sony and From Software on selling over a million copies of Bloodborne, despite it being a new IP on a relatively new console.

If you remember back to when the new consoles launched, Microsoft had congratulatory words for Sony, which Sony then returned.

The lesson to learn from this is that if the head of the studio who designed a console can respect his competitor, the owners of all consoles and PCs should be able to respect one another. At the end of the day, console wars are pointless debates and the next time you want to argue about resolution or frames per second, rememeber Phil Spencer and show a little class.

I hope you have a nice day, fellow gamers.
