A little birdie told us that Halo 6 will not be shown at E3 this June, this being confirmed after the Halo community manager Brian Jarrard responded to a comment on Reddit. He also stated that “We’ll have a little something at E3 but it’s not related to the next major entry in the franchise (Halo 6).”
From a realistic standpoint, we may not see this game until sometime next year.
343 studios’ little something may have something to do with Halo Wars 2 or maybe even a new IP, at this point it’s merely speculation. The Boss Phil Spencer hasn’t made any official E3 lineup comments but if you’ve been keeping track as to what games are set to be released this year then you have a pretty good idea as to what they’ll be showing. My guess will be more from Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and possibly the much-anticipated Crackdown 3.
This time last year Scalebound was surrounded by so much hype only to have production cancelled on the game. Let’s hope this doesn’t happen to any of the games we’ve been waiting to see.
We will be sure to keep you updated on any changes regarding this topic.
