Bethesda announced today that Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will get a physical release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on July 21 in North America. The game has only been available digitally in North America since it came out on May 5, 2015. It had already been released physically in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe last month.
The Old Blood is a standalone expansion to Wolfenstein: The New Order. It is a prequel that is set in 1946 and tasks B.J. Blazkowicz with breaking into Castle Wolfenstein in Part One and in Part Two Bazkowicz must square off against hordes of zombies.
The New Order is a fantastic first-person shooter that rejects the trend of futuristic, jetpack-filled shooters and instead harkens back to the old days of crazy World War II shooters.
