Now that the buzz for this application has died down, I wanted to bring this to everyone’s attention. Peach is another social media app that immediately exploded for some weird and unexplainable reason but then died before it could enjoy the benefits. Social media of all types is and will always be a curse and a blessing at the same time. Most applications that are doing well have their unique niche that draws people’s attention. Like Snapchat, and the ability to be able to send anyone quick clips that “disappears” after a maximum of 10 seconds.
So what is the deal behind that Peach App? From what I see, all it does is lets users post status updates, images, and drawings. You know something similar to Facebook? But I guess the unique and odd thing about this application is a user could use “magic words”—keywords that let you post where you are, what song you’re listening to, and come up with gifs that associated with moods or ideas of users. I didn’t see the big deal behind the application, and now most people are over it now.
The app was on top of the app store charts a few weeks ago and now seems to be dwindling down. I can’t be mad at the developers for trying to come out with that next big application that gets millions of downloads. But it doesn’t seem like Peach is just not it. If anyone has used the app or currently using it please let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
