If you’re familiar with computer hardware brands, I know you’ve heard of Western Digital (the world’s largest storage manufacturer). Today they officially bought Sandisk for a whopping $19 billion dollars according to our source.
Sandisk was mainly known for flash memory and USB flash drives, but they also made SSDs (I personally own one). They were slightly cheaper than Western Digitals, so that’s where the appeal came in. Both places are in California, so there’s not much of a move that needs to be done here. Just a bit of knowledge for you computer heads out there.
