Live service is one thing every major (and greedy), publisher is chasing in 2018 and for the foreseeable future. Why spend money designing sequels when you can create one game and build upon it for years? Not many games have found success with this model, but two do come to mind. Rainbow Six Siege and Warframe.
Warframe is about to encounter even more success with today’s announcements. The first being that it’s coming to Nintendo’s Switch. I just want to know if we’ll be able to connect our PC accounts with the Switch version, so you don’t need to start over. That would be fire!
The second announcement is that co-op space battles are coming to Warframe. According to our plug, each member of your ninja crew will man a certain part of the ship during battle. You’ll be able to divert energy from certain parts of your ship to overdrive others too! You’ll also be able to leave your main ship at any time and hop in your personal ship to make the combat more dynamic. Interested to hear more details on this in the future. Seems like they’re going all out!
