Upcoming Bloodborne Patch Adding ‘The League’ & More NPC Co-op – Gaming illuminaughty Skip to content

Announced on the PlayStation Blog, Bloodborne will be receiving a patch soon that will bring to the game new features. The League will be coming to Bloodborne. This group is described as “a band of Hunters who have taken an oath and are bound by a single purpose.” What this purpose is hasn’t been said yet. The League cane can be used to summon NPCs to help you out, kind of like how Father Gascoine and Alfred can be summoned early on in the game. Also, being a part of the league means you will be able to “assist other players online in the game and compete in The League’s online rankings leaderboard.”

The League is led by a crazy-looking dude wearing a bucket as a helmet. You can see him in the screenshot gallery below.

Also in the blog post was our first glimpse at the Holy Moonlight Sword, one of the new weapons that will be available in The Old Hunters expansion.

If you’ve platinum’d Bloodborne, in the “very near future” expect to receive a voucher code for an “exclusive PS4 theme” for only those players who have earned the Platinum Trophy.

As a reminder, the expansion DLC The Old Hunters will be releasing soon on November 24 for $19.99. It will include new areas, new bosses, new weapons, and new attire.
