Nintendo tends to regurgitate their first party titles. We get a lot of Zelda’s and Mario’s, but not enough Metroid’s and Star Foxes. One of my favorite Nintendo games that never saw a sequel is Diddy Kong Racing.
It was a Kart racer on the N64 that introduced many innovations. It has multiple vehicles, a story mode and it was the game to introduce the world to Banjo and Conker before they had their own solo outings.
But did you know there was a Diddy Kong Racing sequel in the works for the game? Seriously! This is the focus of the latest episode of Did You Know Gaming. Sadly the game was canceled, but if you want to know what happened then peep the video below.
