Mark Ruffalo has been making rounds promoting his upcoming film ‘Spotlight‘ and naturally he was asked concerning reports that his character Bruce Banner aka The Hulk would be teaming up with Thor in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok to which he gave a very interesting quote.
Speaking with The Daily News Ruffalo stated that not only will we see the Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok, but we will probably see him duke it out once again with the God of Thunder himself Thor!
“I don’t really know that much about it, but I think it’s going to be a buddy picture with Thor and Bruce Banner. I think they’ll probably fight. There’s no doubt, everyone wants us to fight at one point.”
According to previous reports the third Thor film will take place on a “‘distant planet’ that is not Asgard and not Earth.” and will continue the cliffhanger ending of Thor: The Dark World where we learned that Loki has secretly taken the throne of Asgard while impersonating himself as Odin. Fan speculation is that this distant planet will be ‘Planet Hulk’ despite numerous denials from the people over at Marvel.
Who do you have your money on if Hulk and Thor square off again? Let us know in the comments below. Thor: Ragnarok opens up on November 7, 2017 in 2D/3D theaters and in IMAX.
