Wearable Tech . We’ve seen none of these smart wearable items truly succeed . But that is not going to stop all these devices from entering the great race to become the best. All of these devices are failing miserably . Is it because people don’t want devices on their wrists? I don’t think that’s it. I think people haven’t found the right device. Today we have a new company to enter the fray .Polyera brings you the Wove Band and the first wearable display.
What the device offers is a 1040 by 200 e-ink display that wraps around the users wrist . This device can display anything from the time and location (GPS) to applications like social media. Just imagine that your wrist is your Twitter feed and Amazon’s inventory. Not to mention that since its a screen that can change image, you can probably set it to match what you’re wearing. The possibilities are endless
. This device solves the problem that a lot of wearable Tech has suffered from . The issue being a lack of display surface area . Every time I see someone using a SmartWatch it looks like they’re wrestling with their wrist. The Wove Band has a chance to not only enter but dominate the wearable tech market . Right now this is just a proof of concept but it looks very promising . If this device could achieve all the features that something like Apple’s iPod would have, then I would say to keep an eye on the Wove Band, because when it hits the store it’s going to go fast!
