A playable demo for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be arriving on the PSN store “later this summer,” according to a PlayStation Blog post from the SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment of America) community manager, Sid Shuman.
He basically just gushes over how great the remastered games look and at the end let’s us know that we’ll be able to try out the game before release.
Shuman writes that Bluepoint Games, the studio behind the remaster, is “upgrading character models, environment textures, lighting, and special effects across the board, bringing all three games as close to visual modernity” while working on the “control scheme tweaks, gameplay refinements, and subtle mechanical upgrades that evolved through the series across all three games, bringing them into closer gameplay parity.”
Some gameplay also found its way onto the internet, so watch below before it gets taken down!
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will arrive on PlayStation 4 consoles October 7 in Europe and October 9 in North America.
