A couple weeks ago Xaviant dropped The Culling 2 out of nowhere and it became the laughing stock of the gaming community. Why? Because dropped and flopped harder than any game in 2018. I don’t think I’ve seen a game flop harder than this in recent memory. This is worst than No Man’s Sky & Lawbreakers!
The Culling 2 was a battle royale game that couldn’t even fill lobbies of 50 people. Gameplay was generic, glitches and bugs were everywhere + every media outlet just clowned the game. This caused Xaviant to release a tweet where they revealed they’d be doing some hard reflecting on the future of the studio. They finally realized they messed up.
For those of you unaware the original Culling took a year to leave Steam early access. Two months after becoming a “full-fledged product” Xaviant shut down the game’s servers randomly. Naturally, this pissed off the community, but what made things worse is less than a year later they release this poor PUBG clone called The Culling 2. After all of the backlash, they’ve revealed that they’d be shutting down the Culling 2 and bringing back the original. Below is a message from Xaviant’s director of operations.
