Sonic Mania was delayed on PC for two weeks compared to the console release and things are not looking good. The infamous anti-privacy program Denuvo was installed in Sonic Mania with out it being known to gamers and it resulted in confusion. According to my source and Sonic Mania’s steam page, it’s not mentioned anywhere that Sonic Mania will be required to always be connected to the internet. This means if you do not have internet or want to play the game in steam offline mode there is no possible way. Fans are furious and it’s gotten to the point where the official sonic the hedgehog social media and pr manager tweeted voice your complaints to Sega.
In particular, please do share your feedback on DRM or any issues you're having at the link above. Make your voices heard.
