Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is still being played by a lot of gamers. Some just can’t beat it for the life of them (*cough Ethos cough*), and others are on doing multiple playthroughs. Tons of gamers on Twitch are going for records doing speedruns and “no damage” playthroughs. The PC community has modded the game to include things like Sekiro with a lightsaber and the serpent as Thomas The Tank Engine. It’s safe to say this game will be around for a while.
The game is so popular that today we received word on a Sekiro manga on the way. The first phase will tell the story of Hanbei The Undying. If you played the game, he’s the one you meet at the first temple who you can train with. He can’t die, so you can practice on him as much as you want. In the game you don’t know much about him except the fact that he can’t die and he’s looking for someone who can set him free.
May 27th marks the date when the first manga will arrive on the Comic Walker website and will be licensed by Yen Press. Will you be checking this one out when it arrives? Also make sure you check out our official GI review on Sekiro below.
