This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario franchise. Our informant claims Nintendo is planning on doing something special for the man with the world’s longest job resume. Rumors have hit the net that Nintendo plans to celebrate his 35th birthday by remastering some old gems and releasing a new Paper Mario. The remasters include Super Mario 64, Sunshine and the original Galaxy.

If this rumor turns out to be true I hope that these remasters are a bundle. If not, then I hope they don’t charge more than $20 for them. Our same snitch claims that Nintendo planned to reveal all this during their partnership announcement with Universal. There was an event planned for June, but with the RONA running wild who knows when that will happen?

I just hope this news is true. Sunshine and Mario 64 were childhood! I would love to see a proper remaster with the Odyssey engine. Just take this all in with a grain of salt. Nothing is confirmed by Nintendo!
