Resident Evil 7 is the first major video game release in 2017. A lot of people are excited the direction Capcom has taken their horror franchise. But with this being a single player only experience some might be worried about the length of the game? I’m sure you’re curious to know if you’ll get the most out of your $60. The answer would be yes (at least in my opinion).
According to the plug, popular Japanese game review magazine Famitsu revealed in their review that the game would take the average gamer 15 hours to finish the single-player campaign. What isn’t clear is if that 15 hours was rushed or if they stopped to smell the roses? What we do know is this might be the game to take VR into the mainstream. According to Famitsu
“This latest installment in the Resident Evil series adds an entirely new interactive horror element compared to previous games. The change between watching tapes found throughout the game and the actual game itself is seamless and really adds to the realism. The quality of the game increases when you put on the PlayStation VR!”
I think 15 hours is fair for a single player campaign. It should be interesting to see how the public perceived this game when it drops this Tuesday for PC, Xbox One & PS4. What do you think? Will it be hot or will it flop? Sound off in the comments below. Can’t wait to stream the game! Be sure to follow me on Twitch by clicking here.
