In a bit of shocking news today, Electronic Arts announced that their PC storefront Origin will no longer be the exclusive house for EA games. This means that Steam, the biggest PC storefront will have access to EA games. EA also announced that its subscription-based service EA Access will also come over to Steam.
The first game to arrive to Steam will be Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order on November 15th. Other games like BF5, Apex Legends, and The Sims will arrive next year. Origin members and Steam members will have the ability to play together as well. How does this news make you feel if you’re a PC gamer? I personally don’t care because EA Origin was a decent storefront to work with, but maybe you feel different? Sound off in the comments!
