News on the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse film have been scarce the past couple of months, however, development on the film is well underway. What we do know is that the film, which is the last of the trilogy, is said to be the biggest and most ambitious X-Men film to date and it will bring back most of the cast from the previous film, with some new additions.
In regard to these new additions to the cast, director of the film, Bryan, Singer announced today via his Instagram account that fan favorite and queen of the geek community, Olivia Munn (Attack of The Show, Magic Mike, The Newsroom), would join the ranks of the X-Men as the mutant Psylocke!
In the comics, Psylocke’s real name is Elizabeth Braddock, who first appeared in 1976’s Captain Britain #8 as the twin sister of the UK book’s titular hero. In the 80’s, however, she took over the body and abilities of a female ninja, Kwannon, upon which she joined the team and has since been one of the most popular members of the X-Men.
Do you think Olivia Munn will make a good Psylocke?
