Filming for X:Men: Apocalypse is well under way but aside from recent casting announcements, not many news have surfaced concerning the plot of the film. The film, which sports an ensemble cast that is seemingly ever growing, has many fans eagerly anticipating what these new mutant characters will look like.
20th Century Fox answered the call and recently unveiled a picture of one of the young mutants and it shows a first look at none other than fan favorite, Nightcrawler, who will be making his debut in the new trilogy! The character had previously appeared in X2: X-Men United and he was played by actor Alan Cummin, however, in the new film that character will be portrayed by young actor Kodi Smit-McPhee (Dawn of The Planet of The Apes, Let Me In).
X-Men: Apocalypse is set to premiere in theaters on May 27, 2016. Check out the photo below and let us know what you think about the character’s new look in the film.
