Microsoft’s Project Scorpio has been all the talk since it was first revealed during Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference. Microsoft’s Phil Spencer stood on stage and claimed that their new Xbox would be capable of displaying fantastic visuals at 4K 60fps. No console has been able to do this. This has left many people skeptical.
Ladies & gentlemen mark your calendars for April 6th, 2017. That is day Eurogamer & Digital Foundry will fully reveal Project Scorpio. Including Digital Foundry in the reveal is interesting. That says to me Microsoft is confident in their specs. If you’re unfamiliar with Digital Foundry, they do a lot of solid frame rate tests on games and hardware.

I think Microsoft is capable of producing something that can blow the PS4 Pro out of the water. I’m more concerned with the price point. How much is a native 4K console going to cost? If Microsoft takes a hit and sells it for the low, then they could get back in good graces with the community. Then they could make their money back later. Should be interesting to see how this one plays out.
