eSports has been shoved down our throats and is a very real thing that cannot be stopped. Many companies have taken notice and are trying to adapt to include eSports in their programming. NBC Sports will now jump into the pot and will start by hosting a Rocket League tournament on television. This will be the first time Rocket League has ever been on TV, so this is major for Psyonix.

The first tournament will be a two on two for a $100,000 cash prize. It will begin online through Faceit eSports and later rounds will be on the NBC Sports app, with the Grand Finals being displayed on August 26-27 on NBC Sports.

ESPN and TBS have already been displaying games like Heroes of the Storm, CS:GO, and SFV on their channels. I wonder will Fox Sports join them in the US soon?
