The Battle Royale craze has swept the gaming community like an airborne disease and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Both PUBG & Fortnite are making the big bucks and naturally, other companies want in on the pot of gold. So who’s the next big name to throw their hat into the arena? Chinese Juggernaut Tencent. This investment group is the same company behind hits such as League Of Legends, Arena Of Valor and more.
Tencent’s battle royale game is called Europa. From first glance, it looks like a rip of PUBG, but if you watch the full trailer you’ll see the visuals are better, there’s more emphasis on environmental destruction and underwater exploration. This game looks like you’ll need a decent PC to run, but I really want to get my hands on it! This game shows potential.
Europa will be free to play on PC sometime in 2018. The only catch is this is for the Chinese market as far we know. Tencent has a strong presence in the west (whether you know it or not), so I think if we get to begging it will come west. Check out the reveal trailer below and let us know what you think?
