Microsoft knows that PUBG is a franchise that they need to hold onto for as long as possible. During E3 PlayerUnknown himself announced that PUBG would be exclusive to the Xbox. The game isn’t even out yet for the console, but news arose that BlueHole and Microsoft are in further talks to extend the exclusivity agreement.

Apparently, this talk is so major that the people sourced asked to not be identified. There are also no specifics on how much longer the deal is supposed to last. Microsoft is obviously worried because BlueHole wants the game to reach a wider audience due to its sever popularity.

I will say this, I feel like BlueHole is getting way too cocky and they need to worry about getting these servers right and actually bringing us the features they previewed months ago before even thinking about bringing the game to other platforms.
