Nintendo may have learned its lesson after severely underproducing the NES Classic and other consoles. Reggie Fils-Aime told Financial Times that Nintendo “dramatically increased” production on the SNES Classic. The system is only $80, and he urged people not to pay more for the console.
He also commented on the NES Classic, saying they did not purposely under produce NES Classics. They simply did not produce enough for the overwhelming demand. The system drops on September 29th for those that got a pre-order, but we will see if Reggie is right come launch.
