Marvel Studios has just announced that they are adding 4 new films to their ‘Phase 3’ slate, with one of them being a sequel to Ant-Man entitled ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp‘! This is undoubtedly due to the critical and commercial success of Ant-Man this summer as the film grossed $178.5 million domestically and $231.3 million internationally, making its total gross over $409.8 million.

The movie will debut Black Panther‘s original release date of July 6, 2018, while the Black Panther film will now hit theaters on February 16, 2018. A change was also made to the original release date of Captain Marvel, which was scheduled to debut in theaters on November 2, 2018 but will now debut on March 8, 2019.

Marvel’s other 3 films are mystery films as of right now, as the studio gave no indication as to who or what those films will be about, however, they have booked dates on┬áMay 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020.
