Airing towards the end of this year, Marvel’s Jessica Jones Netflix series has some pretty big shoes to fill, having to try and follow the critical success of the previous Marvel/Netflix series Daredevil. Shooting is already underway for the upcoming series and it will be the 2nd of 4 live action series Marvel has lined up that will lead up to their collaboration event entitled ‘The Defenders’.
In anticipation for the series Marvel has decided to reveal the official logo for the series which you can check out below along with plenty of on set photos featuring star Krysten Ritter. The Jessica Jones series is described as follows:
“Taking place after a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, the new series follows Jessica Jones (Ritter) as she rebuilds her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.”
Starring alongside Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad, Don’t trust the B— In Apartment 23) will be David Tennant (Doctor Who, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) as Kilgrave, Rachael Taylor (Shutter, Transformers) as Patsy Walker, Mike Colter (Zero Dark Thirty, Million Dollar Baby) as Luke Cage, Carrie-Ann Moss (The Matrix, Memento) as Harper, Eka Darville (The Originals, Empire) as Malcolm, Erin Moriarty (The Kings of Summer, The Watch) as Hope, and Wil Traval (Once Upon a Time, Red Window) as a NYPD cop.
