Finnish teenager Julius Kivimaki, 17, known as “zeekill” online, has been convicted of over 50,000 charges of cybercrime and has been sentenced to a two-year suspended prison sentence. He is also required to speak out against cybercrime. Basically, he has to say he’s sorry.
Kivimaki was a member of Lizard Squad, the infamous hacker group that took responsibility for multiple DDoS (distributed denial of service) attacks on video game servers last year, such as League of Legends and Destiny. What really brought this group under the spotlight was their DDoS attack over Christmas that caused PSN and Xbox Live to be brought down.
Austin is in his final year at the University of Florida studying English. He enjoys binge watching on Shark Tank, winning the Mortal Kombat, and occasionally stepping in for Batman when necessary.
