The folks over at Respawn have been doing a mighty good job teasing Season 4 of Apex Legends, dubbed “Assimilation”. The lore has been slowly churning in almost everyday since the beginning of the week on their Twitter. First they changed their twitter handle to Outlands Television, then they killed off the first teased hero Forge, now we get the full story trailer with the next hero Revenant.
According to Respawn, Revenant was once the greatest hitman the Syndicate ever had. But when his programming failed, he saw what Hammond Robotics had turned him into. Hammond Robotics’ return to the Outlands has renewed his thirst for vengeance, and he won’t stop until they’re all dead.
Revenant was the first hero that data miners and leakers found in the game files, but Respawn tried to throw fans off by introducing Forge first. Now that Revenant is 100 percent the next hero coming in Season 4, are you excited? Check out the official trailer below.
