Fans of 90’s and early 2000’s Nickelodeon rejoice! One of the crown gems of that era will return to the airwaves in some capacity. His name is Invader Zim, and he was one the greatest savages of my childhood. According to our informant, Nickelodeon has green lit a television movie for Invader Zim as well as other classics such as Hey Arnold & Rocko’s Modern Life.
This is a part of a new movement Nickelodeon is doing that celebrates 25 years of Nick Toons. It’s also a way to thank the fans who grew up with the content and are in their 20’s & 30’s these days. No release date was given for the Invader Zim movie, but we do know that the Hey Arnold film drops later this year and Rocko’s Modern Life is already in production.
Now we just need the announcement of a new Rocket Power film & maybe some Chalk Zone? What y’all think? Anything else you’d like to see Nickelodeon bring back? Let us know in the comments below.
