Once Friday The 13th: The Game came out, if left many of us wanting more because playing online as either a counselor or as Jason himself was cool, but the gameplay began to get stale. The good folks over at Gun Media knew this and constantly updated the game, whether it be fixing bugs, glitches, animations and even adding new content such as different variations of Jason, perks and counselors as well all for free.
This time around they’ve announced that as of today they have a new engine upgrade and also released a new single-player challenge. Not much is known as to what this will include but there will be a trailer below to show you what you can look forward to.
The community manager Ben Strauss does a remarkable job at keeping supporters of the game in the loop and maintaining transparency whenever there’s an issue with the game and/or when new material is on the way, personally emailing people to inform them and replying to those with issues.
For many of you who stopped playing like myself or for those of you who were on the fence about purchasing the game, maybe the new engine upgrade and single-player challenge is all the reason for you to give this game another chance. The game is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
