Before we get started, let me just say that this is one of my favorite games ever for the SEGA genesis. The Adventures Of Batman & Robin (1994) is an action-adventure platformer where you can control Batman or Robin, strapped with a heavy array of weapons and power ups, going to battle with various enemies and Boss battles at the end of each stage.
You can play either one player as Batman, or two player where the other can play as Robin.
The Genesis version (the game also available on the SNES) Published by Sega and developed by Clockwork Tortoise, the play style is basically run ‘n’ gun where you have to stop Mr. Freeze from trying to freeze Gotham City. Graphics are nice for a game that came out in 1994. The villains you’ll have to go up against are below.
- Mad Hatter
- Harley Quinn
- Mr. Freeze
The gameplay is solid overall, once you learn the pattern based boss fights, it doesn’t seem cheap. The music was more of a dark electronic style performed by Jesper Kyd, the man who also did the music for Hitman 2: Silent Assassin.
